All photos were taken by me on a Nikon Z6II and edited in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. The studio backdrop was too short, so I taped two together. It looked fine, assuming you didn’t look too closely - which, unfortunately, I had to do while editing.
None of the subjects had modeling experience. I also had no experience directing people. A perfect combination. Posing was a collaborative effort, usually involving vague gestures and the phrase “yeah, like that - but different.”
Clothing was sourced based on what felt right for RAW and what didn’t make anyone want to leave immediately. The magazine was designed in Adobe InDesign with the goal of creating layouts that encourage people to look a little longer than usual. If you’re reading this, maybe it worked.
